Pictorial works from the William Nauns Ricks papers [graphic]. ca. 1885-ca. 1950

Includes individual and group portraits and snapshots of Ricks, his family, friends and assiciates, including his wife Elizabeth Ricks, Dane Coolidge and Mary Coolidge. Includes portraits of Ricks in costume as an actor. Group portraits depict a school class, choirs, veterans of the Spanish-American war, a picnic of the California Packing Corp. Also includes landscape photographs of Yosemite National Park taken by Ricks; photographs and photomechanicl reproductions of views of Asilomar, Calif., San Francisco and other locations; scenes taken in an unidentified office (perhaps that of the California Packing Corp.?); and a photograph of the transport ship S.S. Sheridan, on which Ricks returned to the U.S.A. from Japan after his service in the Spanish-American war. Also includes views of Ricks' residence on Stanton Street in Berkeley, Calif.

1 box (ca. 50 photographic prints, 15 photomechanical reproductions, 1 tintype and 1 printing plate), 37 negatives, 1 oversizve folder (4 photographic prints) and 2 oversize photographic prints : various sizes.
